    Ayurveda’s View of Gout

According to Ayurveda, gout is often associated with Vatarakta, a condition resulting from the imbalance of Vata Dosha along with impurities affecting the blood (Rakta Dhatu). Furthermore, weakened digestion (Agni) and the accumulation of toxins (Ama) may contribute to inflammation and joint discomfort. Ayurvedic treatment focuses on improving digestion, eliminating toxins, balancing the doshas, and supporting healthy joint function through individualized care.
